this subject is very hard to find any solid information on, but does anyone happen to know if the lights, 1/4 panels on the evo 7,8,9 all the same. for example if i were to put a evo 9 back bar on the one with the built in defuser, will it go on? But as the rears look the same im not entirly sure about te front, as i have looked at many pictures all the angles are different along with the bars. so will the evo 9 headlights go in the evo 7, an along with the bonnet. if i were to buy an CF evo 8 bonnet, will it go on the evo 7?

The body is all the same but if you change bonnets you generally will have to change front bars also

Sorry to bring up an old thread - you same situation. Wanting to know if the evo 9 rear bar will bolt directly onto the evo 7 rear?

not 100% but, you will need lights bracket for the number plate and reinforcement bar..

same for front/ need reo bar? or is it just a straight swap of lights, bonnet, front bumper? coz i was thinking of getting a 7 and converting to 9. probably better just to save the extra 10k or so and get a 9
